Collection and Usage Attributes
Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
Must be a valid date if not blank.
Blank if separation type = 4 (remaining in).
Must be a valid date if discharge status is 1, 2 or 3.
Can be null if not admitted.
Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
This item is collected separately for both the mother and the baby.
Note the difference between this item and item 040117 'Episode of admitted patient care-separation date', which includes statistical separations (episodes of care within a hospital stay).
Some Queensland Health information systems restrict date storage to CCYYMMDD format e.g. Oracle systems.
