Note that birth centres have separate facility codes to the hospitals to which they are attached. Babies born before arrival (BBAs) are allocated the facility code of the hospital where the perinatal data form is completed. Use this item in conjunction with QHDD data element "Actual place of birth" QHLTH 040752 vers 2 to exclude BBAs.

Birth Notification File Data Supply Requirement (DSR):
The hospital or birthing centre where the baby was born.
