Admitted patient care
If the workers' compensation claim relates to a road incident, provide the role of the patient in the road incident. This is relevant for any claims arising from travel to or from work; between work places; or travel as a part of daily work duties. Should only to be recorded for a road incident. It is not relevant for other forms of travel such as trains, boats or planes.
Queensland Hospital Admitted Patient Data Collection (QHAPDC): Must be completed for admitted patient records where Episode of admitted patient care-compensable patient status is code 1 (Workers' Compensation (Queensland)) and the workers' compensation claim resulted from a road incident. Left adjusted and space filled to 2 characters; blank if null.
Public hospitals that do not use an electronic patient management system will need to complete a Motor and Work Injury Interview Questionnaire and provide this information to the facility that records their data.
