Code 02 Forceps
This code includes a vaginal breech with forceps to the after coming head.

Code 04 Lower Segment Caesarean Section and code 05 Classical Caesarean Section
These codes include where forceps/vacuum extraction are used to assist the extraction of the baby at caesarean section or where a hysterotomy is performed to extract the baby.

Code 10 Vaginal (non-instrumental)
This code includes a vaginal breech that has been manually rotated.
Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
Validated against list of method of birth codes.
Must not be blank.
Must be 04 or 05 if Birth event-labour onset type = 3.
In the case of multiple births, method of birth should be recorded for each baby born.
