Collection and Usage Attributes
The current Health Service Areas were formally declared by gazette notice on the 24th February, 2006 by the Governor in Council. Health Service Areas manage the Health Service Districts of which they are comprised. Health Service Areas plan, manage and deliver health services in their areas. Each Health Service Area is led by a General Manager who reports to the Director-General. District Managers of each Health Service District within an Area report to the General Manager of the Health Service Area.
