Collection and Usage Attributes
In a telehealth session the participant sites are involved in the provision of health service to a client. However, telehealth participation role is the role that each site plays in relation to each other in a telehealth session. That is, the distinction between which site/s is/are providing the consultation (collaborator) and which site is receiving the consultation (originator). Usually, the site in the originator role is the site where the client is present.

Code 1: Originator (Patient location)
The role played by the party to whom the service was delivered. For example, a site receiving a consultation service from another site.

Code 2: Collaborator (Other location)
The role played by the party delivering the service. For example, a site providing specialist consultation services to another site.
HBCIS outpatient appointments: In the HBCIS outpatient appointments module the 'Telehealth participating site - telehealth participation role type' data element is collected for video conference delivery mode only (i.e where QHLTH 040780 Version 2 Service Delivery Mode = 22 Videoconference).
