Sunrise Decision Support Manager also known as Transition II and Sunrise Decision Support Manager (SDSM) is the legacy clinical costing system that has been used to provide patient level costing data across multiple Hospital and Health Services (HHS) since 1997.

Collection and Usage Attributes
An aggregate group of software tools used to calculate the cost of patient care (previously known as Clinical Benchmarking Information System / TII) which enables analysis and reporting of hospital costs, revenue, ABF data and other management information at both the product line and patient levels across Queensland Health's major public hospitals.
All inpatients, emergency presentations and outpatient occasions of service where these have been electronically recorded.

Metro South
Routine and adhoc reports are held in QHERS.
Weekly extract updates from HBCIS (patient admission and coding). Monthly updates from other clinical systems, finance and payroll systems.

Numerous reports are provided from the system at HHS and DoH level to meet business and clinical analysis of activity. A number of de-identified clinical indicator reports are provided to professional colleges.
Annual extract from each database into the Clinical Costing Data Repository is run to meet jurisdictional and national reporting requirements for the National Hospital Cost Data Collection (NHCDC) and Financial and Residential Activity Collection (FRAC).
