Collection and Usage Attributes
The current Health Service Districts were formally declared by gazette notice on the 8th February, 2007 by the Governor in Council. The Health Service Districts are managed within three Health Service Areas: Northern, Central and Southern. The District Managers of each Health Service District report to the General Manager of their Health Service Area. Corporate classifications may exist that cater for varying corporate reporting needs which include 'Health Service District' as a component in addition to extra codes, for example - Mater Public Hospitals (67, MAT) Corporate Office (40, CO) Other (98, OT).
