Verification Rules
This data element is only to be recorded if the response to Birth event-method of birth is code 02 Forceps, code 03 Vacuum, code 04 Lower Segment Caesarean Section (LSCS) or code 05 Classical Caesarean section.
Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
Must not be blank.
Must be 1, 2 or 9.
If code 2 (Yes), Birth event-type of anaesthesia administered must be completed.
