Purpose

An aggregate group of software tools used to calculate the cost of patient care (previously known as Clinical Benchmarking Information System / TII) which enables analysis and reporting of hospital costs, revenue, ABF (Activity Based Funding) data and other management information at both the product line and patient levels across Queensland Health's major public hospitals.

Scope

All inpatients, emergency presentations and outpatient occasions of service where these have been electronically recorded.

GCUH / Logan / QE II / Ipswich / Toowoomba / PAH / RBWH also supports Mt Isa / LCCH / Prince Charles / Redcliffe / Caboolture / Nambour / Fraser Coast / Bundaberg / Rockhampton / Gladstone / Mackay / Townsville / Cairns

Published Outputs

Routine and adhoc reports are held in QHERS.

Frequency of Updates

Weekly extracts updates from HBCIS (patient admission and coding). Monthly updates from other Clinical systems, Finance and Payroll systems.
