all patients removed from specialist outpatient waiting lists since October 2012 at Queensland Specialist Outpatient Reporting Hospitals
all non-admitted service events from July 2014

Published Outputs
Elective surgery and specialist outpatient activity data sourced from SATR is published regularly through the Queensland Health Hospital Performance website and through state and national publications and websites.
Frequency of Updates
Elective surgery and specialist outpatient data reported routinely on a monthly basis.

Accessibility
Data from SATR is accessed through the Queensland Health Enterprise Reporting Service (QHERS) and through the Decision Support System (DSS). Access to data available in SATR can be requested through the Hospital Access Analysis Team in the Clinical Access and Redesign Unit by emailing HAAT@health.qld.gov.au.

Methodology
Data is extracted from the following hospital information systems into SATR nightly:
HBCIS-Elective Admissions Module (EAM)
HBCIS Appointment Scheduling System (APP)
Cerner-OSIM (Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital specialist outpatient appointments).
ASIM (Logan Hospital specialist outpatient appointments).
HBCIS-ADT (patient demographic and doctor information for elective surgery patients and specialist outpatients).
Statistical Unit
Reporting Requirements
Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) use the data in SATR to manage elective surgery and specialist outpatient waiting lists, and monitor activity and performance.
The Department of Health uses the data in SATR as described in the Elective Surgery Waiting List Data Collection, the Specialist Outpatient Waiting List Data Collection, and the Non-Admitted Patient Data Collection (interim solution).
Commonwealth reporting requirements for elective surgery National Minimum Data Sets are identified by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
The data from SATR is reported on the Queensland Health Hospital Performance website to provide transparency of elective surgery and specialist outpatient activity and performance to the public.
