Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
Can be blank.
Must be a valid date.
Queensland Perinatal Data Collection (QPDC):
If more than one Estimated Date of Confinment (EDC) is available record the one that has been deemed to be clinically the most reliable (i.e. the date used by the clinician, on which clinical decisions regarding the management of the pregnancy have been based).

Flagged with an "E" when day is missing and QPDC staff have imputed (in retrospect) as early, mid, or late in the month according to the actual date of confinement.

In the case of hospitals reporting this information electronically, if only month and year are known, the day is entered as 01, 15 or 28 for early, mid or late in the month. The EDC estimation indicator must be completed as an E for estimated. Otherwise, leave blank.
