Purpose
Meningococcal data is part of a microbiology data set of pathogens and viruses used to diagnose, detect, identify and characterise infectious bacterial agents and environmental hazards, which may threaten public health. The data is included in the Neisseria State Reference laboratory (Gonorrhoea and Meningococcus).
Scope
All age groups in Queensland. Covers sterile and non-sterile site isolations.

Name, age, sex, city, postcode, site, penicillin Minimal Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and breakpoints for tetracycline, spectinomycin, ciprofloxacin, ceftriaxone and rifampicin, serogroup, serotype and subtype.
